HSC is proud to be home to many, both parents and children, who are part of the LGBTQ2S community. For many of our members, homeschooling has been a refuge after experiencing ostracization, bullying, or discrimination in the public school system. At HSC, we are committed to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where all homeschoolers can feel empowered to be their authentic selves.
Our core values of inclusivity and community are what make HSC special. We believe in uplifting and celebrating each member of our community, and participating in the SF Pride Parade is a joyous way to show our pride, support, and solidarity with our LGBTQ2S community members.

About This Event
The San Francisco Pride Parade & Celebration is a vibrant and colorful display of the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. The Celebration features an array of music, choreography, a large variety of craft and food booths, as well as thousands of spectators from all over the world. As one of the largest LGBTQ+ parades & celebrations in the world, and a destination event, it is historic, inclusive, and welcomes everyone regardless of their background or sexual orientation.
The Parade & Celebration is a powerful symbol of love, acceptance, unity, and is a great opportunity to express Pride and support for the LGBTQ+ community.
